Shift Supervisor
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operational production process at the plant, planning and organizing the day-to-day production. If needed, he also carries out operational activities. He works normal office hours or in shifts, depending on the situation.

Responsibilities
- Daily operational production management and planning, accounting time limits, HR rules, local regulations and rules, available raw materials, machinery and QA and HS rules (risk awareness), according to the policy.
- Plan and organize the day-to-day production and adjust the planning if needed
- Lead and supervise the production team (performance, training)
- Control supplies and storage of raw materials
- Control and supervise the production process with the best possible use of materials, energy and people within time limits and quality standards from the operating room but also at the plant
- If needed, carry out production activities
- Signal and manage developments and trends for the production and continuity of the plant
- Contribute to improvements in the production process and working conditions/safety.
- Ensure daily production targets are met
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the production manager
- Act and work safely where all jobs are being executed
- Use working tools with a high degree of consciousness to achieve desired results
- Be safety conscious at all times in applying tools and instruments to execute jobs
- Follow up of the health and safety guidelines
- All operations shall aim for zero accidents
Educational Requirements and Experiences
- HND / bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Agric Engineering, Nutrition/Food science or related fields.
- At least three years manufacturing experience in a similar role.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Understanding of animal feed production processes and familiarity with safety regulations
- Capability to address operational issues and implement corrective actions.
