Warehouse Assistant

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for inventory in the warehouse, oversees and coordinates the daily warehousing activities.

Responsibilities

·        Conduct daily stock count and reconcile physical stock with system record/production.

·        Monitor shelf-life, product labelling and batch to ensure dispatch principle follows strict rotation (FIFO/LIFO).

• Record and report stock variance observed during and after dispatch.
• Prepare customer order based on the dispatch instruction received from sales.
• Verify quantities and quality of feed received from production.
• Ensure effective storage and adequate housekeeping best practices at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues and returns.
• Prepare weekly and monthly dispatch report across inventory and incidents.
• Enforce warehouse safety practice (PPE) usage, stacking height, equipment handling.
• Any other task assigned by the supervisor. 

Educational Requirements and Experiences

·        Diploma Certificate in logistics and Supply chain management or any related field of study.

·        2+ years of work experience in warehouse and inventory management especially in handling poultry and animal feed.

·        Physically fit and able to work under pressure with or without supervision.

·        Strong attention to details, accuracy, and teamwork.

·        Computer literate in Microsoft suite is mandatory especially (Excel, and word).
