- Hygiene and Biosecurity: Maintain effective hygiene and biosecurity measures.
- Effective Disinfectants: Use effective disinfectants.
- Sodium hypochlorite and citric acid (1%) destroy the ASF virus on non-porous materials.
- 2% citric acid or higher concentrations, or sodium hypochlorite (e.g., 2000 ppm), can disinfect the virus on porous materials (e.g., wood).
